Holocaust was a blatant copy of the sci-fi classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, itself undergoing a re-make at that time. It lacked the originality of Timequake, the strip it replaced, and starred a character who was little more than a cipher of every monosyllabic anti-hero doing the rounds since stories began. This was made particularly apparent on the cover of issue fourteen, which made no apology for using a thinly-veiled publicity still of Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry to showcase the strip.
